As you might know, spruce from Romania is the best for soundboard of pianos.
There is a kind of pine trees in Japan actually comparable to the Romanian spruce.
It is Yezo spruce from Hokkaido. Sound of pianos with the spruce is beautiful
and has wide dynamic range.
However, Yezo spruce is prohibited to cut down and used today. So we would like
to introduce you KAWAI RX2MR, the very precious piano made with Yezo spruce.
